My name is Daniel Sullivan, I have been working in Culinary/Pastry Arts for going on 16 years. I graduated from the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago in 2003 with a degree in Culinary Arts. Since then I have worked in some of Northwest Indiana’s best restaurants. Ranging from the Radisson Hotel, to The Lighthouse Restaurant.
As far as my career goes, I have spent most of it in healthcare (12+years), most of it spent at Wittenberg in Crown Point. Doing everything from skilled care, memory care, assisted living, and independent living. There is nothing more rewarding than to care for the elderly.

Outside of cooking and baking, I am married to my beautiful wife Trina, who is a manager at the lighthouse, have three children, Colin (7 years old) who was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome when he was One, he is a challenge but lights up our lives. Our middle child Eben (5 years old) is a handful, but has essentially taken on the big brother role to Colin and his younger sister Mackenzie. Mackenzie (2 years old) is our princess and pretty much rules our house. My wife and I, as crazy as our life is, wouldn’t change anything about it.
